Trinity Bowling Club
Willenhall Trinity Bowls Club is situated in Charles Street Willenhall.and Crown Green Bowls has been played on the site since the 1920’s when it was part of the Russell Street Playing Fields. The present membership is around 45 with ages ranging fro 16 to 91.
The Club is at the moment undergoing a transformation, a new kitchen & disabled toilet have been installed, thanks to grants from the Big Lottery Fund (Awards for All) and the Bloxwich & Willenhall Methodist Circuit. A new car park is at present being completed by the circuit and amongst other projects the club members are planting two sides of the green with shrubs and plants.
We have a working party each Thursday morning between 9 and 12. We also have hundreds of books. videos, and jigsaws for sale at very reasonable prices so why not come along and have a look around and meet some of the members?
The Club has the following teams
- Monday – Heath Town League – 7pm – All ages
- Monday – Willenhall League – 6-45pm – All Ages
- Tuesday – Walsall Veterans League – 1-30pm – Over 50′s
- Wednesday – Wolverhampton Senior Citizens League – 2pm – Over 60′s
- Thursday – Cannock League – 6-30pm – All ages
- Friday – Heath Town Over 55′s League – 2pm – Over 55′s
- Saturday – Wolverhampton Works League – 3pm – All ages
We also have club singles & doubles competitions during the year
We are always on the lookout for new members, young or old, novices or experienced. Even if you have never bowled before you can always contact us to have a roll up to see if it appeals to you.
Each year we hold a number of Social and Fundraising events i.e.: Choral Concert – Quiz – Sporting Evening – Family Fun Day
